Did you order this unit online or puschase at a store? I'm thinking you might try the store first if they can assist you, otherwise you will have to contact Behringer Technical support with the problem. Otherwise it should identify itself something along the lines of Behringer-ASIO 1/2 or possibly UAC200-ASIO 1/2. And seeing the only driver listed is simply USB Audio Codec makes me think that windows for some reason is not seeing the ASIO driver file you dropped into the System32 folder. What seems funny to me is all my USB interface devices for midi and audio are all identified by name even under the generic windows driver list. Otherwise if it is just the SB Live it should not be causing a problem but I cant say for sure. Noize2u Czar of Midi Administrator Since: 06:16 pm Do you have an onboard sound device as well as the SB Live and the Behringer? That might be causing a problem if so. Normal USB hardware installs require that the unit not be plugged i while the driver is installed, then when it is plugged in windows will run the install dialog. Then after that has run you can plug the unit in and point it to where the ASIO driver installed to finish the instalation. Then you run the ASIO driver install from Behringer. What recording software are you using?Īs well, when you installed it did windows come up with a driver install dialog? You may have to unplugg and disable the driver it allready found, if it did at all. I'll ask this now so we can help a little further on the problem. ![]() Here is a link to the page with and ASIO driver that should work with most applications. Yes, it is supposed to be plug and play, but there are some recording softwares it may not work with using the generic windows MME drivers. Without the driver some recording programs may not see it. ![]() Noize2u Czar of Midi Administrator Since: 09:45 am Welcome to HRC.įirst thing we always ask is do have a driver installed for it.
